Big Voices

The dream is to start a children’s choir for kids from all over Seattle. The dream is to provide transportation so all children would feel welcome, and that membership to the choir would be on a “pay as you can” basis for families. No child who wants to sing, will be turned away. The choir of children grades 1- 5 will be called Big Voices.

Musically, the choir will sing varied repertoire. Choral arrangements of noteworthy artists will be created especially for the group. We will sing arrangements and repertoire that doesn’t exist in the choral world yet.

A big part of the Choir experience will be learning about artists who are both local and are passing through Seattle. Our goal will be to attend live concerts together as a choir and to form collaborations and dream up of ways to perform together.

Big Voices will be a community of children who make and experience music together out in the world.
